The June 2012 Santa Ana Artwalk concert at the loft of Robert and FLorence Estrin was a memorable success. On June 2nd, Norm joined nephew Austin Beede on drums, friend Steve Grom on electric bass and pianist Rita Rowe for a well attended two sets of jazz, bookending a wonderful performance of “Music for Three Pianos” originally composed and recorded thirty-two years ago by Norman Beede, Craig Kupka, Kenny Sawhill and Roland Tripp for vinyl recordings of music for modern dance choreography and classes.
